Learn to Skate is an introduction to skating. Ages 4-10 (other ages need coordinator approval). No experienced needed.  Sessions are structured as a group activity where children can explore skating. Coaches will be on the ice to assist the children, demonstrate skills, and offer encouragement. Individual lessons are NOT provided, and this is not one on one instruction.

Please note: Only certified coaches and volunteers, and junior coaches are allowed to be on the ice with the participants during these sessions.

Please dress your child in comfortable layers of clothing, long socks, and gloves or mittens, a jacket and snow pants.

Cost: $25, Includes rental skates & helmet

Bike helmets & hockey helmets, figure skates and hockey skates are available for use. The skater

may use their own if preferred.

An $80 equipment deposit is required for participants borrowing skates or helmets. The deposit check will be held until the equipment is returned at the end of the session. Equipment fitting dates:  Volunteers will be available to fit your child for skates/helmets on the first day of class.
